HISTORIC TREASURE HUNT
As a girl, I loved venturing into my grandparent’s huge east coast basement. Newspapers exposed me to current events, I shopped amongst the canned goods, invented new uses for broken machines, or read years of Good Housekeeping! I knew my grandmother and mother in the roles they fulfilled for me, but the basement gave me…
THE SUPER COOKIE BOWL
The Super Bowl’s over, the puppies and kitties fell asleep in their bowls. TITANIC OBSESSION
Call me weird, old, whatever, but I saw Titanic 3-D BEFORE The Hunger Games. My obsession started well before I met Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. The hunger for Titanic was insatiable! The fever started in fourth grade, as I dutifully worked through the SRA box. I found the tragic story of the Titanic…

BLOGGING: THE MOST WELCOME TIMESUCK
Blogging rides up on my butt every night threatening to run me over and derail me. Recently back working again, I haven’t retained the mental space to prepare a prominent idea cultivated while wandered during the day – and I don’t want to blog about my work as I’d love for it to transform into…

WHO IS THE FIRST PERSON YOU CHECK IN WITH EVERY DAY?
I’m behind. For 2 weeks I’ve written posts after they’re due. Technically, I have not missed a day; but will catch up with one day and two posts. Nightly I’ve surfed for inspiration or handled family stuff only to be too exhausted when ideas sparked. Last night I went to bed resigned to wake up…

WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
My town’s 70,000 residents may not qualify us as the smallest. However, we hold the record as the densest town I’ve lived in. I’m not calling my neighbors names; close to 11,000 people live in each square mile. Why, then, am I surprised so many people here know my name? Recently, after hardly seeing people…

Thanks I think! Thanks for wandering by Frizztext!
Hehe his facial expression when getting that letter
The facial expression was just from mailing the letter. We actually never got a response, sadly – the letter got returned. Boo hoo. Thanks for wandering by!
His facial expression made me smile…my son does the same expression when he’s hoping for something. Just priceless moments!
Totally agree! Kids’ facial expressions are so awesome because they’re completely out of their control! I was trying to snap pictures of the kids with their sour spray candy this weekend, but was laughing too hard so they were blurry. Thanks for wandering by! Hope to see you again soon!
What a great expression! Thanks!
I thought so too! Thanks for wandering by!!
